This image is part of a small suite that includes 5 images. I was thinking about how time shapes the energy of our lives. In our world, time shapes us with the "when" of moments: what is happening, where we are, and what conditions contextualize that particular moment. The work was created with solar etching using sunlight and water. I created a drawing on acetate, and the photosensitive plate was exposed to the drawing using sunlight. Water washed out the unexposed portions of the plate and sunlight further hardened the material. It was then inked in a traditional manner and printed using a printing press. Image = 12" diameter. The is sold unframed.
