This artwork is physically round. Prepared canvas is stretched on a round, wooden frame. The work is lined with 4ply mat board to prevent cracking, and signed on the backside. In the tale of Beauty and the Beast, there is no mention of a ring. Yet I thought Beauty should have a magical ring, a ring that would glow with pure white light, reflecting what was in her heart.
