This painting is part of a small suite exploring the Celtic phrase of its title. Originally, the phrase referenced geography, but I am using it metaphorically; metaphysically. The thin zip of 23k gold mimics a horizon line; it is also a boundary between above and below, with its own thickness, its own space to traverse.
