This is a mixed media piece. Oil, mosaics, stone, carving, and metal leaf on wood. Its a part of the floral series that I have, that include Flowers for the Living, and Flowers for the Impassioned. The Marigold is a symbol of resurrection. Geometric design, color scheme and mosaics reinforce this symbol.
