In this piece, you can see a doll holding a beautiful bird that is the embodiment of reincarnation, a baby phoenix. It breathes new life into her and she remembers how to feel again as fake blushing cheeks give way to genuine feeling. I think our humanity has been lost. We need to be compassionate to the creatures we share our planet with, as our survival is inexorably tied to theirs or else what use are we? We may as well be inanimate simulacra of living things. The setting sun reminds us that we will come back. Just what exactly that may be is unknown but should be of concern to all people.
