With White Blossom I was inspired by the Monochrome Art Movement, which lasted from the late 1960s through the 1980s. Monochrome Movement Artists are generation of artists who combined Asian philosophies with Western training to create art that explores color, examines surface, expresses texture and nuance, and holds a wide variety of emotions, intentions, and meanings.
