Acrylic gouache with laser cut relief on board

"Same Cloth" came together after I spotted an interestingly shaped piece of laser cut wood which was a remnant of another artwork. The shape reminded me of a geographic continent, although it didn't match one. It got me thinking of how the differences between humans are mostly imagined as we all come from the same cloth. We are all in this beautiful Earth experiment together. "Same Cloth" is on board and has natural wood sizes. The relief elements are approximately 1/8" high. I will donate 5% of proceeds from this painting to the Animal Justice League, Houston chapter.
