Before thte pandemic, I have been deeply and only interested in painting people.While I was locked down into a new place due to Covid19, I found myself alone and isolated. I started painting the stack of all the food I brought with me which were my only belongings in this place, and it has lead to my new body of work."
Anne-Sophie Plume is a French artist who lives and paints in Brooklyn, NYC. She enrolled in the MFA program of the New York Studio School in 2018. She is graduating in 2020.
Plume had several solo and group shows in France. She exhibited in group shows in Haiti, India and at the New York Studio School. She was recently part of two exhibitions at the Plaxall Gallery in New York.Read more...
