I spent June 2019 in Montepulciano, a small hilltop town in Tuscany, Italy. I painted outside almost every day. One day I took a walk along the town wall in search of a distant view, and in a small parking lot found this one. The spot turned out to be hidden away from passersby and made for a very enjoyable painting experience.
